Happy New (School) Year!

Hello 3/4 grade families!  I am new to the blogging world, but my goal is to consistently post updates on what we are doing and learning in class, schedules of upcoming tests, and any other important information you may need.

On Monday, students broke up into their separate reading classes.  Fourth graders will be going to Miss Scheurs for reading and third graders stay with me.  Both groups have been working on identifying the important components of a story this week.
We also broke into our separate math classes.  Fourth graders are either working with Mrs. Moen or Mrs. Dane.  Third graders are working with either Miss Scheurs, Mrs. Nove, or me.  It is awesome to be able to meet all of the students in the Middle Unit!  :)

I am so excited to have begun a new school year with your children!  Although we have only been in school for four days, they have completely amazed me.  They are a group of 11 fourth graders and 17 third graders who have already proven they can work cooperatively together, learn from each other, and most importantly, respect one another.  It is truly going to be a great year!

It's great to be a Lemme Leopard!!
